Kimberly Southwick

Kimberly Southwick is the founder and editor in chief of Gigantic Sequins, a bi-annual, black & white literary arts journal. She lives in Philadelphia and teaches grammar, writing, and literature. there are scattered half-moons

of cut fingernails, his blood


on a torn sleeve. I see red

when I hear loud noises in the distance,

flashing on the edge of a landscaped picture,


a perfect churchyard, a woo woo,

then the same few chords. ..
